Children’s Ministries

Every week our kiddos meet at 11 AM during our morning worship service at PBC for a Bible lesson and activity geared toward their age group. Children’s Church is for all kiddos ages K4-3rd grades and Junior Church 4th- 8th grades.
“PT – 52’s” Pre-teen Bible Study
There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

Every week our PT – 52’s meet at 5 PM during our praise and prayer hour at PBC for a time of Bible study and prayer. This is for Pre-teens ages 3rd-5th grades. There are also activities, outreach opportunities, and rallies throughout the year. Watch the announcements for details!
“Set Free” Teen Bible Study
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Every week our Set Free Teens meet at 5 PM during our praise and prayer hour at PBC for a time of Bible study and prayer. This is for teens ages 6th-12th grades. There are also activities, outreach opportunities, and rallies throughout the year. Watch the announcements for details!
Crus-Aid
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
All young people 17 (high school senior) though 30 years of age are invited to join us each month for our Crus-aid group. This is a time of fellowship, learning, study of God’s Word, encouragement, and food. Time and location vary month to month so watch the announcements for details.
Men’s Bible Study
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

One Saturday a month from May to October all young men and men ages 13+ are invited to join us for our monthly men’s Bible study. It is hosted at Pastor’s home on his back deck. Breakfast, coffee, water, and hot cocoa are all provided. Just bring your Bible and appetite! Watch the announcements for the topic that will be discussed each month.
Ladies Bible Study
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

One Saturday a month from all our sisters are invited to join us for our monthly Ladies Bible study. It is hosted at Mrs. Chandra’s home on her back deck (weather permitting) otherwise hosted at the church. Pastries, tea and coffee are provided. Just bring your Bible and appetite! Watch the announcements for the book we will be discussing each month.
Soul Sister’s

“Soul Sisters” is the ladies ministry of Pocatello Baptist Church. It is a time of Bible study, testimony, song, food, fun, and a different themed activity. The Good News Is That Christ Paid For Our Sins
All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
The Bible Says That All Men Are Sinners
Our sins have separated us from God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
God made man in His own image. He gave man the ability to choose right from wrong. We choose to sin. Our sins keep us from God.
We Must Personally Pray And Receive Christ By Faith
The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
God’s Word Also Says That Sin Must Be Paid For
“For the wages of sin is death….” Romans 6:23
Wages means payment. The payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever. If we continue in our sin, we shall die without Christ and be without God forever.
